Bluebird Car & Coach Park NOW OPEN for cars and coaches. Toilets, info centre, e-bike hire coming soon. VoltShare EV charging NOW AVAILABLE.

The Bluebird Car and Coach Park has all day, pay-and-display parking for up to 70 cars in the heart of Coniston village.

The car park has 6 parking places with EV charging.

Visitors to the car park will have free access to public toilets, including disabled toilet, baby-change facilities, e-bike hire and an information point which includes free walking and cycling trail maps.

VoltShare EV Charging

VoltShare EV Charging is available at The Bluebird Car and Coach Park.

We’ve added 6 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations to our car park. Powered by VoltShare, these smart charging points are compatible with all modern EVs, making it easier than ever for you to visit the Lake District without range anxiety.

You can download & install the VoltShare app before your visit, or scan the QR code for app-less payment on arrival.

Car Clubs

Those wishing to visit the car park as part of a car club, can pre-book multiple car spaces (5 spaces minimum, 30 spaces maximum) alongside group museum entry (minimum of 10 visitors, maximum of 50 visitors).

Pre-booked Car Club Parking is all day parking so you are free to arrive at any point during the day and stay all day.

Car clubs pre-booking in advance will be allocated reserved spaces together within the car park. Please call us on 015394 41765 to discuss your parking needs and we will allocate you an area. To book parking for your car club at a discounted rate please click below.
